Versobank AS was founded in October 1999. Until March 2012 the main share of the Bank was owned by Cyprus Popular Bank Public Co Ltd (former named as Marfin Popular Bank Ltd) (Cyprus).
Over the years, the Bank has formed a circle of customers and a team of professionals. In 2012, the Bank’s shareholder structure was changed, that led to changes in the Bank’s business name and the Bank's development strategy.
In March 29, 2012 Ukrainian investors became the main shareholders of Versobank AS. The majority part of the Bank belongs to the Ukrainian agro-industrial company UKRSELHOSPROM PCF LLC.
In accordance with the Bank's charter minimum share capital is EUR 6 391 164, maximum EUR 25 564 660.

- Internal passport of Authorized Signatory, director and UBO
- International passport of Authorized Signatory, director and UBO
- Documents for prooving stable standing of Beneficial Owner and Authorized Signatory (request the list from banking manager)
- Documents for prooving the source of funds
- Business scheme
If the company is more than one year Certificate of Good Standing should be provided.
Verso Bank doesn't accept offshore companies for acc opening. All acceptable companies should be tied with residential business in country of residence with same business activity.
Min. deposit requirements:
300 - 500 EUR — acc opening fee + dispatch of documents and card
Time frame:
7-10 w.d. since documents and forms are delivered to the head office of the Bank in Riga.
Other information:
Personal visit is required.
English and Russian speaking staff.
